The fairy type!

After over a decade of playing with the same types, Pokémon X & Y have introduced an eighteenth type to help balance the game: the Fairy-type.

Defensively, the Fairy-type has the following weaknesses and resistances:
- Weak to: Poison, Steel
- Resistant to: Bug, Fight, Dark
- Immune to: Dragon

As for Fairy-type moves, here's a list of which types are weak and which are resistant to them:
- Super-effective: Fight, Dragon, Dark
- Not very effective: Fire, Poison, Steel
