Hey guys. Since I didn't see this on the forums yet, I thought I'd put it up and introduce at least some of you to the wonderful world of...
Nuzlockes!
Now, to those of you wondering, a Nuzlocke is essentially a type of challenge run for any of the main Pokemon games(Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, etc.) It's meant to make the games more difficult, and more fun!
There are 3 basic rules to any Nuzlocke. They are as follows:

There are 3 basic rules to any Nuzlocke. They are as follows:
1. If a Pokemon faints in battle, it is dead.
Say your pokemon gets hit by a critical hit and faints. It is now considered dead, and must be either permenantly boxed, or released. You cannot use this pokemon in the run any longer.
2. You may only catch the first Pokemon on any route/area.
It's exactly as the rule says. Whatever you encounter first on a route, that is your one and only catch for that route. If you kill it by mistake, then yoy get no catch for that route. The same goes for gift Pokemon, like the gift Eevee in Celadon City. If you take it, that's your catch for the city. You can't go for any of the Pokemon in the Game Corner. There is an exception to this rule however, called the Dupe Clause. If your first encounter is a Pokemon you've already caught, you may skip that encounter and try again for a new Pokemon. You may choose to use this rule, or not use it.
3. You must nickname all of your Pokemon.
Don't just call your Pokemon by their species name! They have real names, like you and I! Use them! This rule is a must so you can become more emotionally attatched to your Pokemon.
There are other rules you can use during your runs to make it even more challenging. Examples include:
No buying items from Poke Marts.
You can only use healing items to heal your Pokemon.
If your starter dies, the run is over.
Killing all legendaries in the game.
There are many others including those I've mentioned, but they are all optional. The first 3 rules are the only required ones for any Nuzlocke.
I think that just about covers everything. Happy Nuzlocking, everyone!
