With so many games to choose from and so much difference between each generation, everyone tends to have different faourites. I have noticed that it's not necessarilly the newest, more modern versions people like the most.
My favourite's HeartGold because of it's cool design and i love the Johto Pokémon. I also love FireRed because it has Charizard and because i can play it on my Android phone hehe
What are your thoughts?

Mine is probably Gold for sentimental reasons. I was kinda little when I first played it, so all I did was ride a bike and battle with a wild Pokémon here and there.  Now the game won't save even on a GBA and the old Gameboy I played it on hardly works. So, I am pretty sentimental about my memories of that game. |

Why don't you just play it on your computer with an emulator? it's easier than it seems lol

I had an emulator for Ruby, but we had to delete everything from the computer & I've been lazy about re-downloading it. xD I will probably get it again when I'm done with X.

My favorite is Diamond, really enjoyed it and was one of the games I've played the longest.
