Some of us like to play a game on their computer or phone using an emulator instead of spending lots of money on consoles and games, myself included. Do you think that's ok, or do you prefer spending the money so the gaming industry can thrive and make more games for us to play? Of course there is the example of the music industry which is not making a lot of money from selling albums anymore because the songs are easily downloaded from the internet. Please share your thoughts on this

I've only used an emulator for the GBA, because I don't have one.

We (the public) of course would want it to be free, but without the money the gaming industries can not thrive. The companies, more like the creators, need the money to be able to create new and improved games or versions of games.

Very true! i would like to know how the game hackers make their money, though. because there are pokemon hacks out there that are new, very different versions of the original games, and sometimes they take years to make!
