Why do people hate on the internet?
Many people would answer that question saying that the haters want attention or because they are bad people, but they wouldn't do that irl (in real life) so what makes it acceptable online?
People believe that since they are talking to someone across the world it is ok to say hurtful things. There is no consequence for calling someone ugly or fat over the internet.
U have a right to express ur opinion, but sometimes its better to not say anything. This is a lesson haters need to learn.
Idk about u guys but I have been hated over the internet many times for the way I look, talk, dress etc.
It makes me wonder if the Internet is really a good thing? I dont know if u see the hate that I see going around, but there is A LOT!
Dont get me wrong, I LOVE the internet and couldnt live without it, but some of the things people say are just mean and uncalled for. It would be ok if it was just a few people, but millions of people are doing this. Dont believe me? They have done tests where they have asked people who are actively involved on the internet if they have in any way said something rude, mean, or hateful to someone else (over the internet of course). It was sad to admit that 3/4 of the people asked said that they have. This doesn't include the big chunk of people who said no just because they didnt want to look like a bad person.
Do you think the good of the internet overrules the bad or visa versa?
